Caption: Figure 5.

Probability distribution function of gas in the density–temperature plane from an isolated dwarf galaxy simulation performed with GAMER. An animation is available that spans 0–750 Myr with a real-time duration of 47 s. After ∼100 Myr, the interstellar medium reaches thermal balance against radiative cooling, becoming dominated by diffuse warm gas with density ∼10−25 g cm−3 and temperature ∼104 K.
