Mass ratio distributions, marginalized over hyperposterior uncertainty. The subpopulation’s mass ratio distribution is peaked at lower values than that of the main population, consistent with expectations for 2G+1G mergers. However, the value at which it peaks depends strongly on our choice of pairing function (see Figure 9).
