Examples of poorly fitting emission forward models of atmospheres and their associated temperature–pressure profiles using HELIOS. We also include blackbody models with albedos derived from the best-fit NRS2 phase curve amplitude (Aeff = 0) and prayer-bead eclipse spectrum (Aeff = 0.2), corresponding to dayside temperatures of 1390 K and 1320 K, respectively. Compared to atmospheric models, the observed eclipse spectrum is relatively featureless, and in all tested atmospheres, the airless basaltic model is preferred.
