Statistical errors of ﹩K﹩‐correction from observed ﹩i_{\mathrm{M}\,}﹩ band to rest‐frame ﹩B﹩ band where the template spectrum is color‐corrected with "observed" colors. The observed colors are from the synthetic photometry using the observed filter bands ﹩g_{\mathrm{M}\,}﹩, ﹩r_{\mathrm{M}\,}﹩, and ﹩i_{\mathrm{M}\,}﹩. The left panel compares the errors of the revised template of N02 and the new template. Both templates are color‐corrected by observed ﹩g_{\mathrm{M}\,}-i_{\mathrm{M}\,}﹩ and ﹩i_{\mathrm{M}\,}-r_{\mathrm{M}\,}﹩ colors before the calculation. The right panel shows the effect of the availability of observed colors on the errors. The solid, dotted, and dashed curves represent the errors of the new template corrected by both ﹩g_{\mathrm{M}\,}-r_{\mathrm{M}\,}﹩ and ﹩r_{\mathrm{M}\,}-i_{\mathrm{M}\,}﹩ colors, ﹩g_{\mathrm{M}\,}-r_{\mathrm{M}\,}﹩ color alone, and ﹩r_{\mathrm{M}\,}-i_{\mathrm{M}\,}﹩ color alone, respectively.
