Corrected absolute magnitude (H; P. Pravec et al. 2012) vs. NEATM-derived geometric albedo (pV) for the Koronis family (this work) and Karin cluster (A. W. Harris et al. 2009). In the left panel, large (13 < H < 14; orange; N = 23) and small (16 < H < 17; blue; N = 12) Koronis family members are shown along with remaining Koronis targets (black; N = 42) that fell outside of the designated size populations and Karin cluster members (gray; N = 16). The middle panel shows histograms of pV for Koronis (black) and Karin (gray) populations, with solid horizontal lines indicating mean values and solid vertical lines representing the 1σ uncertainties. The right panel shows pV histograms for large (orange) and small (blue) Koronis family targets. The full Koronis sample has a mean albedo of pV = 0.24 ± 0.12. Large and small subpopulations yield mean pV values of 0.23 ± 0.06 and 0.32 ± 0.18, respectively, with no statistically significant difference (K-S test: DK-S = 0.457, p = 0.043). The Karin cluster shows a mean pV of 0.22 ± 0.05, consistent with the Koronis family distribution (pV = 0.24 ± 0.12).
