XRISM/Xtend spectra of the flare in three time slices: hard state before the flare at (1.2–1.8) × 105 s (black), flare rise at (2.0–2.6) × 105 s (red), and soft flare decay at (2.8–3.2) × 105 s (blue). The spectra are presented as ratios to a power law, each fitted above 3.0 keV. Clearly, the deep absorption trough and soft excess below 2 keV do not change throughout the flare.
