The final obliquities and semimajor axes of HJs in our secular simulations. The black dots show the results from our simulations, and the contours show the two-dimensional kernel density estimates. Results from our fiducial simulations (panel (a)) are compared to an additional set of simulations in which the tidal dissipation in the planet is enhanced (panel (b)). The rest of the initial conditions are kept same. We can see that the results are qualitatively similar, except stronger tides tend to produce more HJs on wider orbits.
