The profiles fitted to separations of ﹩| {\xi }^{{\prime} }| \leqslant 4﹩ and 6 mas for the jet and counterjet, respectively (shown by the vertical dotted–dashed lines) for Δξ = 1.5 mas (top) and Δξ = 2.0 mas (bottom). We allow for different parameters of the jet and counterjet; see Table 1. The flux profiles correspond to the final positions of the MCMC walkers in the model parameter space, and the red and blue shaded areas represent the total uncertainty on the fits.
