The x-axis shows the true underlying IMF model used to generate the synthetic CMDs, while the y-axis shows the IMF model preferred by the inference pipeline. Each entry represents the fraction of synthetic CMDs classified as a given model. The pipeline correctly identifies 97% of SPL realizations and 100% of LN realizations, demonstrating its ability to distinguish between IMFs with and without a characteristic peak mass.
