Narrowband imaging of the Pa 30 nebula obtained with Gemini/GMOS with the [S II] filter. The imaging reveals a high filling factor of filaments. In general the filaments are a cascade of knots. The grid spacing in the lower-right panel is 18″, illustrating a characteristic knot spacing of ≈1–6″ along the radial extent of the filaments.
