MUSE data products used in this paper, all of which were clipped to a signal-to-noise ratio of 5. Top row: MUSE Hα and Hβ flux maps of NGC 1266. Middle row: sulfur doublet ratio and Hα/Hβ ratio, where the former shows it hits the low-density limit in the cavity, and the latter implies heavy extinction. Bottom Row: Electron density ne map from the sulfur doublet and electron temperature map Te from the N II lines. Both values are undefined in the region of the cavity due to the low-density limit.
