Mean stellar transverse velocity directions and magnitudes across Circinus, corrected for projection effects (﹩{v}_{T}^{{\prime} }﹩). Values are calculated by dividing the area occupied by Circinus into 45 cells in l and 50 cells in b, and computing the average velocity in each cell. Velocities are only shown for grid cells with three or more stars, and the origin of each arrow is the average position of stars in that cell. The line weights are scaled by the number of stars in the cell.
