Example broadband spectra for the IC 348 member 2MASS J03443800+3211370. Open black circles show the observed grizyJHK photometry, and filled red circles show the extinction-corrected values. Gray squares indicate synthetic photometry from the best-fitting BT-Settl model integrated over the corresponding filter bandpasses. For this star, we find A_V = 2.0 ± 0.2 mag. The Hα emission displays a clear excess compared to the photospheric emission, indicating accretion activity.
