Caption: Figure D1.

Simulation results of circumnuclear warm ionized medium shocked by hot winds on parsec scales for M81* at snapshot t = 761 yr. Top left panel: initial density setup. The wind is injected from a spherical with a radius of 0.1 pc surrounding the black hole centered on (0,0), and 10 104 K clouds are randomly distributed within 0.5 pc. Top right panel: temperature distribution overlapped with the velocity field. Bottom left panel: 0.5–8 keV X-ray emissivity map. Bottom right panel: phase plot of gas temperature and radial velocity weighted by the 0.58 keV X-ray emissivity. The red cross with 90% error bars marks the best-fit gas temperature and blueshifted velocity from the observed spectrum.
