In Illustris, the overmassiveness of SMBHs (vertical distance from the average MBHσ relation) correlates with the Sérsic indices of the host galaxies and anticorrelates with the baryon conversion efficiency. The left panels show only galaxies with σ > 100 km s−1 in Illustris.
