Light curve comparison between PTF10iam and SN 1998S (data from Bignotti et al. 1998; Li et al. 1998; Nakamura et al. 1998; Fassia et al. 2000; Leonard et al. 2000; Liu et al. 2000). PTF10iam is faster to rise and more luminous, but the decline rates of both events are very similar.
