Peak magnitudes of core collapse SNe (Li et al. 2011; see also Bazin et al. 2009 and Taylor et al. 2014) and superluminous SNe (SLSNe; Gal-Yam 2012). Here all strongly interacting (Type IIn) SNe are excluded. A gap between core collapse SNe and SLSNe is apparent.
