Magnitude of the bias on w ( b ^leakage _w ) as a function of time series duration T evaluated for two different values of w (1 and 5 Hz; lower and upper curves, respectively). The leakage bias was computed numerically by comparing of the Lorentzian profile before and after convolution (computed on a fine grid of frequencies, δ f = 2 ⁻¹³). Roughly, the bias decays as b ^leakage _w ∝ T ⁻¹.
