The error bars denote the variance of each averaged value, which does not exceed 50% in most cases. The missing values for velocities of −120 and −200 km s −1 and +100 to +140 km s −1 are due to the lack of emission in the respective knot. The dashed lines represent the median of the line ratios for the two knots.
