Overlaid histograms of compact multiple planets found in 3:2 and 2:1 orbital resonances with at least one other planet in their planetary system (purple) and all remaining other remaining compact multiple planets post–quality cut (pink). The median of each sample is plotted as a vertical line of the same color. There are not enough planets that are in resonance orbits in our sample to make a robust statistical conclusion on whether orbital resonant systems inhabit larger planets, and we do not find a significant difference between the population of compact multiple planets in a 3:2 or 2:1 resonance vs. those not exhibiting those desired resonances.
