Here and in future volume renderings of this type, bright, opaque colors (light blue, green, yellow, red) represent strong magnetic field, whereas dark, translucent colors (dark blue, purple, black) represent weak field. The case M1 is shown at times ﹩t=0.0﹩, 6.0, 7.9, 11.0, 15.1, 20.5, where two tubelike strong toroidal (x‐directed) magnetic structures are formed over time by the action of the velocity shear on the initial weak poloidal (y‐directed) magnetic field.
