Dynamics of case VA4, where the magnetic structures do not emerge from the localized shear but are influenced by a secondary KH instability. Shown are volume renderings of B² at times ﹩t=311.3﹩, 318.1, 325.0, 331.9, 338.8, 345.7. It can be seen that the two magnetic structures do not rise from the equilibrium position but are continually twisted in a "rolling" manner by KH modes.
