The probability of reaching a final surface temperature above 400 K for all unknown Monte Carlo parameters (Table 2). Model outputs for an Earth-like planet (instellation, hypsometry, albedo) with mass-dependent ingassing and atmospheric escape. Besides the initial surface water inventory (Figure 6), the final surface temperature is also dependent on the initial surface carbon inventory, and weakly dependent on the initial interior carbon inventory.
