Temporal image ratios derived from averaged WAC images at two wavelengths (415 and 689 nm) and the associated color ratio derived by dividing the left and center temporal image ratios. The bright points associated with the 35 and 50 m diameter impact craters correspond to the exposure of immature material (less red). The fact that the distal zones are not visible indicates that they result from local churning, not the deposition of darker material. Each frame is 20 km across (zoomed in by 2× from Figure 10).
