Morphological decomposition carried out for two-component galaxies in the sample. (a) The gray-scale images, models, and residuals of the galaxy in the appropriate JWST filter probing rest-frame U- and B-band emission. The red ellipses mark the signal-to-noise ratio (S/N) ∼ 3 extent of the galaxy in the respective filters. (b) The modeled rest-frame SED of the galaxy. (c) The observed and modeled surface-brightness profiles using a single-Sérsic model. The solid curves represent the modeled profiles (PSF-convolved model) fitted to the observed data points. The dotted curves represent the intrinsic models of the galaxy in the respective filter. The dashed curve represents the PSF profile in the appropriate JWST filter. The upside-down arrows represent the extent that encloses 80% of the PSF flux. These are represented below by vertical lines in the panel for the residual profiles, Δμ. (d) Same as panel (c), but using an inner Sérsic+exponential disk model for the galaxy. The error bars represent 1σ errors.
