Face-on view of the 11 clouds with distance measurements. The symbols are the same as in Figure 4. The light-gold shaded regions mark the overall distribution of these clouds, spanning 196–265 pc. Gray dashed contours represent extinction structures within ∣b∣ < 30°, starting from 0.3 mag with an interval of 0.3 mag (S. Zhang et al. 2025). Marked are the positions of nearby MCs (e.g., Taurus, Ophiuchus, and Chameleon; also see the Cepheus Flare in F. Wang et al. 2025 and S. Zhang et al. 2025), as well as the directions toward the radio supershell GSH 238 + 00 + 09 (C. Heiles 1998) and the Cygnus region (S. Zhang et al. 2024).
