Comparison of the warm WDP luminosity (﹩{L}_{{\rm{WD}}}^{{\rm{warm}}}﹩, Table 3), the luminosity generated by internal shocks in the slow equatorial outflow (Lsh, Equation (10)), and the Fermi-LAT γ-ray photon fluxes (Fγ, from Figure 2 of C. C. Cheung et al. 2022) as a function of the nova age. The comparability of ﹩{L}_{{\rm{WD}}}^{{\rm{warm}}}﹩ and Lsh, and their correlation with Fγ confirms that internal shocks generate a significant part of the luminosity of the warm WDP during its presence in the spectrum.
