The uncertainty in the inferred R_b of 1.5 kpc (see Figure 2) is accounted for by subtracting it in quadrature from the total scatter. When the total scatter is <1.5 kpc, we set the radial migration strength to be 0, as the quantity inside the square root becomes negative and therefore nonphysical. The uncertainties are measured with bootstrapping R_b with a width of 1.5 kpc and age with a width of 20% of its value. Both relations using inferred R_b extend beyond 6 Gyr due to the imposed age uncertainty. We are able to reproduce the general shape for both the R_b distributions and the radial migration strength.
