Statistical coverage—the fraction of galaxies that have their ground-truth redshift within their 68% prediction interval after split conformal prediction—plots for all models. Within the redshift range 0.3 < z < 1.5, BNN-Combo and BNN-1 maintain the most consistent statistical coverage across both datasets. Models trained on a single dataset tend to achieve statistical coverage but struggle to calibrate on a different dataset.
