IS absorption along lines of sight within 15∘ of Sco–Cen as probed by 3 Cen A, HD1095793, HD110058, and HD131488. The top panel shows the NUV spectrum around Mg II. The bottom panel shows a close-in plot of Mg II plotted in velocity space. None of the nearby sight lines show IS absorption beyond ≃30 km s−1.
