Spatial distribution of predicted interpolation error for the upsampling. We show the distribution of the error predicted by the algorithm for each interpolated pixel of the sky. We predict a map at N _side = 4096 from a map at N _side/2= 2048, with ℓ _max = 4096. The structure of the error distribution reflects the features of the HealPix pixelization.
