Modeled phase-resolved Doppler shifts for select NIR-absorbing species, with representative error bars (Ehrenreich et al. 2020) drawn on. We find that OH and H2O have distinct Doppler signatures from CO; however, OH and H2O have Doppler shifts that are indistinguishable from one another with current best-case error bars (e.g., Ehrenreich et al. 2020). Considering CO as a baseline species here allows one to better understand how H2O and OH may change through the atmosphere.
