Observed (black) and modeled (blue and orange) real parts of the visibilities for the [C II]158 μm emission (integrated over Δv = 482km s−1) and dust continuum in J1148+5251. The model points are slightly offset for presentation purposes. The difference between the two models (blue: point source + circular Gaussian; orange: point source + elliptical Gaussian) is not statistically significant (p-value = 0.83; e.g., 0.96σ significance).
