Selection function of our z ∼ 7 quasar survey. The probability is the fraction of simulated quasars selected by our selection criteria among all simulated quasars in each (M₁₄₅₀, z) bin. The orange filled stars denote newly discovered quasars reported in this work, and blue open stars are previously known z > 6.45 quasars. The contours are selection probabilities from 0.7 to 0.1 with an interval of 0.2.
