Schematic of BLR model M3. M3 is a two-zone model with the basic scenario that, at high accretion rates, the geometrically thick funnel of the inner region of slim disks produces an anisotropic ionizing radiation field that leads to two distinct BLR zones, I and II. We also construct two additional BLR models M1 and M2, which have the same disk-like geometry as zone II in model M3 (see Section 4 for details).
