Fits to the ﹩33\mbox{--}35\,\mu {\rm{m}}﹩ continua for all 15 objects in the sample. The gray shaded area shows the full range of the 12 different continuum fits described in Figure 1. Black dots are median values of the six fluxes at each pivot point, and the dotted line is the resultant third-order spline fit to those pivot points. The gray dotted vertical lines mark the rest wavelengths of the OH 35 doublet (34.60 and 34.63 μm) at a systemic velocity. The red dotted vertical lines mark the locations of the emission features [S III] at 33.48 μm and [Si II] at 34.815 μm. The vertical light-green band shows the region where a 20% dip in the detection response in the NOD 1 position occurs.
