Locations of the spectroscopic fields overlaid on the PAndAS star count map (McConnachie et al. 2009). Spectroscopic fields designed primarily to target M31's dwarf galaxies are denoted by open yellow circles; the remaining fields target M31's halo. Exact locations and orientations of the spectroscopic slitmasks can be found in Figure 1 of Gilbert et al. (2012).
