Log of the ratio of far-infrared luminosity to host luminosity in B band (as a proxy for the specific star formation rate) is plotted against the accretion rate relative to the Eddington limit. Symbols are as in Figure 4. While the most luminous quasars also show the highest luminosity in the FIR, there is no correlation between the inferred star formation and accretion rate of the quasar.
