VELC sit-and-stare spectroscopic observations on 2024 July 7 in the 5303 Å channel showing the emission-line intensity, FWHM, and Doppler velocity. The maps shown correspond to observations on the solar east with slit 1 (Figure 2). The center of the slit was at r = 1.07 R⊙. Exposure time is 5 s, cadence is 61 s, and gain is 1×. The comparatively brighter emission seen in all three maps at ≈03:05 UT and near position angle ≈111° (measured counterclockwise from the solar north) correlates with a coronal mass ejection (https://cdaw.gsfc.nasa.gov/CME_list/UNIVERSAL_ver2/2024_07/univ2024_07.html).
