Total H I column density, ﹩{N}_{{\rm{H}}{\rm{I}}}﹩, in the CGM as a function of normalized impact parameter for the targeted and serendipitous galaxies, compared with measurements from COS-Halos (Werk et al. 2014). All of the measurements are consistent with a single power-law fit (dashed line), which is described in detail in Section 5.4.
