Plots illustrate an example of the candidate-selection and filtering procedure used to identify pulsars for visual inspection for six beams in which pulsars were found. Left: a distribution of candidates after applying the selection rules to the raw candidate files from beams in which new pulsars were found. The legend shows nh/nharm, the harmonic-sum index in the FFT search (nharm = 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5), where index n corresponds to 2n harmonics (i.e., 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32). Middle: RDM0 as a function of DM correction for candidates that survived folding, with marker color indicating the spin period range and marker shape denoting the nharm range. Right: the final set of candidates selected for visual inspection, in which only the pulsars and two spurious candidates survived the filtering criteria.
