Comparison of extinction corrected absolute V-band magnitudes for a few different SN Ic-bl with (SN 1998bw) and without an associated GRB. The phases are given with respect to the date of ﹩{V}_{{\rm{\max }}}﹩. SN 2024abup (black circle) falls within a reasonable range with SN 1998bw, which is associated with a low-luminosity GRB, being the brightest.
