Density distribution of a simulated galaxy cluster of mass M200 = 3.4 × 1014 M at redshift z = 1.7 (L. Tevlin et al. 2024). Shown is a projection with side length 600 kpc and projection depth 100 kpc. We obtain a clumping factor ﹩{{ \mathcal C }}_{2}=16﹩ within a radius of 200 kpc (indicated by the white circle), which is close to the maximum extent of the candidate radio minihalo.
