White-light CME images and modeled magnetic field lines of MFR4. The top panels (a), (b), (c), and (d) show the CME of the October event as observed by STA/COR1, SolO/Metis, LASCO/C2, and SoloHI (tiles 1 and 2). The lower panels show the magnetic field lines of MFR4 from the same viewpoints. For reference, the meridians and FOV of each instrument are plotted on the solar surface in pink for STA, yellow for SolO, and green for LASCO, along with the solar equator. An interactive version of Figure 6 provides a 3D view of the magnetic field lines of MFR4 that allows the reader to hover, zoom, and change the perspective of the presented field lines. Dashed lines highlight corresponding features between the white-light observations and the field lines structure.
