Comparison of [Acc/AIa] and [α/Fe] as predictors of Tcond slope for stars with the Teff, ﹩\mathrm{log}g﹩, and [Fe/H], as the Sun within 1σ uncertainties. This includes the high-resolution HARPS solar twin sample from B18, as well as stars from the other surveys meeting the same parameter criteria. Left: Tcond slope values as a function of [α/Fe] with the running mean and 1σ standard deviation plotted. The Sun is 0.8σ from the running mean. Middle: Tcond slope values as a function of KPM proxy of [α/Fe], [Acc/AIa], with the running mean plotted. The Sun is 0.5σ from the running mean. Right: histogram of [Acc/AIa]. The Sun sits within 1σ in [Acc/AIa] space. While the Sun sits slightly below the mean relation, it remains well within the intrinsic population scatter about the KPM-predicted trend. Data are not separated by survey here for visual clarity.
