JWST/NIRCam image of the field around HR 8799 in the F444W filter. The data is shown with a linear stretch normalized by the pixel-to-pixel dispersion away from the source. While this stretch saturates the bright planets (b, c, and d), two sources that are a factor of ∼100 fainter (#1 and #2) are readily apparent. These sources are at projected separations of 3″ = 120 au (#1) and 6″ = 240 au (#2).
