The long-term light curve of 2000 SY178. The Magellan telescope observations in 2014 obtained an absolute magnitude of 14.07 ± 0.24 mag for 2000 SY178 and observations with the Lijiang 2.4 m telescope in 2025 provided an absolute magnitude of 14.02 ± 0.31 mag. Although the light curve amplitudes differ, the mean magnitude remained stable. Several scattered data points obtained in 2024 also fluctuating within this range.
