Image was taken in UT 2014 May using IMACS on the 6.5 m Magellan-Baade Telescope with a 3750 s median exposure. The antisolar direction (−⊙) and negative velocity vector (﹩-{\boldsymbol{V}}﹩) are shown as projected on the sky. The dust tail is aligned with the direction of the negative velocity vector, indicating the presence of larger or slower-moving particles in the orbital plane of 2000 SY178. Image credit: S. S.
