The photometric evolution of 2000 SY178 from 2008 to 2025. Due to factors such as its shape, the brightness variations caused by rotation differ at different epochs. Meanwhile, due to the limited precision of the data provided by the MPC, which are mostly survey data, the results appear rather scattered. In the figure, we marked both the magnitude value of 13.50 adopted by J. R. Masiero et al. (2011) and the average magnitude of 14.07 derived from our fitting.
