AV, ﹩{R}_{\widetilde{VI}}﹩, and α maps shown of three regions of contrasting environments in the outskirts of VV 191b that are well backlit by the foreground galaxy, VV 191a. The maps are zoomed in to the three regions to be analyzed at small scales. Region A (red) closely resembles a dense spiral arm. Region B (green) is a less dense tendril branch to a spiral arm. Region C (blue) is on the edge or possibly outside of the galaxy disk.
